Guest WICKED ATV Posted May 26, 2007 Report Posted May 26, 2007 I just talked to charlie yesterday with ohton racing and he said he could port a 10mm super cub for my weight (200lbs) and give me a billet head and domes for 1350.00. does that sound like a good deal and a good setup to go with. Quote
CRAZY-SHEE! Posted May 26, 2007 Report Posted May 26, 2007 1350!? maybe u worded it wrong but that price better include the cylinders! porting is like.. 400 bucks.. and a head is like.. 300.. Quote

Wicked, do a little research about the super cubs. you might find that there are several reason to stick with a normal cub setup or go cheetah. Quote
Guest WICKED ATV Posted May 26, 2007 Report Posted May 26, 2007 WOULD IT BE BETTER TO JUST GO WITH A PORTED 68MM 10MM CUB? Quote
Bansh-eman Posted May 26, 2007 Report Posted May 26, 2007 WOULD IT BE BETTER TO JUST GO WITH A PORTED 68MM 10MM CUB? its all personal prefferance.... what are you trying to get out of the motor? what kind of riding? super cubs willl cost you omre money in the end to get the same power as a large cub setup or cheetah setup. talk to Majicmike, he can fill you ion with his testing with the supers Quote
Guest WICKED ATV Posted May 26, 2007 Report Posted May 26, 2007 WHAT BUILDER SHOULD I GO WITH WHO HAS THE BEST PRICE FOR THE BEST PRODUCT? Quote

dynodon Posted May 26, 2007 Report Posted May 26, 2007 I agree, I would go with either a cub ( my prefference) or a cheeta. All are good builders that have been mentioned by ban- man. Call around do some talking and see who you feel most comfortable with !!!! That price should be Cylinders, port, head, and nicosil Quote
Guest WICKED ATV Posted May 27, 2007 Report Posted May 27, 2007 yes the 1350.00 charlie for ohton said is for a 10mm supercub ported for my weight(195-200lbs),plated,head and domes. Quote
rocketboy Posted May 27, 2007 Report Posted May 27, 2007 before yo ubuy a kit i think you should talk with RDZ racing ,it is my understanding they sell and build alot of the newer super cubs ... his prcies are high for the stock cylinder porting but lately on ebay i have seen where he is really reasonable on these cub packages and could steer you in the right direction Quote
RIPPEN Posted May 27, 2007 Report Posted May 27, 2007 I wouldn't buy jackshit from MR. Ohton... A while back there was some shaddy shit going on with him over a Chasis.. Then his stunt with Planet Sand. I would shop around for sure.. As for the super cub vs cub, I have heard the supers are not pullin that much more power than the cub.. BUT after this weekend majicmike should be able to give a accurate review on his setup.. RIPPEN Quote
locogato11283 Posted May 27, 2007 Report Posted May 27, 2007 id stick with cubs. you can just slap a super cub on and go. gotta have your cases sent out and have them made to accept the super cubs. gonna be a lot of downtime and more money for not that much more power. Quote
