Are they worth the hard earned?

VF3`s are they worth the cash how are they different from VF2`s noticable power increase?

if u got the 2's sick with them... just make sure you loctite the little screws.. one of those comesout and your in for a hurtin..

I use carbon tech reeds personally. Lots of my buddies run vf3's. Couldn't tell ya if they made a difference or not, everyone bolted them on when doing a bunch of other stuff, so you cant tell.

same here, i put on my v3's along with a fresh top end and a noss head, so it's hard to tell if there was a significant difference just from them. if you have the v2's, i wouldn't bother. but if you have stock cages with stock or whatever reeds, i'd go for the v3's.

I bolt my mods on one at a time and let me tell you the V3s are DEFINATLY worth it. Snappier throttle responce and more power all around. A good friend in the woods. Ive never had an expirence of riding a Banshee with V2s freshly installed I know there not that much of a diffrence the V3s are designed a little better.

I heard about alot of people loosing cylinder psi using vf3`s, so I sold mine for some carbon TDR`s. Much cheaper, feel the same.

I added my VF3's along with my +4 timing and man what a difference, Tommorow my milled head will be in and I am hoping for the same thing!

i agree with these two. i highly doubt there is much if any power diffence between the 2's and 3's. the 3's are a more simple design that snap together where as the 2's hold the petals to the cages with screws. my buddy had a set of 2's that came apart, so heed Bansh-eman's warning. if you're getting new go with the 3's

 

with that being said. on a high flowing engine the 3's may be a little better when you use the cascade stuffers intead of the factory stuffers. i don't think you can get different stuffers for the 2's.

 

the one on the left of the pic is the cascade stuffer.
