kojack Posted April 28, 2007 Report Posted April 28, 2007 we just replaced my clutch basket with abillet one and i have been riding it with no problems. A buddy of mine says you have to time the primary drive gear to the primary driven gear (mounted on the clutch housing). Does anyone know about this. It seems to run fine and i didnt align the 2. ANy thoughts? Quote
Bansh-eman Posted April 29, 2007 Report Posted April 29, 2007 the only timing you need to worry bout is on your stator... Quote

Screaming Yellow Zonker Posted April 30, 2007 Report Posted April 30, 2007 Are you telling us that you didn't mark anything so that it goes back together the way it came apart? Oh well it doesn't matter. The drive gears mate the rotating force of the engine to the transmission drive line. Quote
Justintoxicated Posted May 2, 2007 Report Posted May 2, 2007 Just make sure your rear diff has the proper gears in it and your tranny timing will be fine. Quote
