Had the same problem on my a-arms. Couldnt find anything under 16mm, so I drilled out the a-arm. Worked good.

Oh man, you have much to learn. You cant just choose an different size because its close. There is quite a bit that goes into multi-point threading, and it all has to match. Get the right joints or risk a serious injury when one randomly lets go.

I won't verbally abuse the guy too much. If he was just trying to buy joints from Ricky Stator, I would be willing to be that they only offer there joints in one meric size near that major diameter and pitch. So as long as he is within a the neighbor hood of the right diameter, he can probably choose the joints he needs.

Now if he was making something to thread the joint in to, that would be a whole different story. I am sure I would wind up getting all worked up and typing a lecture on thread types, design, and manufacture methods.

 i have much to learn ? what the fuck does that mean ? i am trying to find my ball joints and having trouble , they dont thread into the arm , so the diameter just has to be the same. and i dont have a caliper that measures MM , thats why i posted this question.

thanks for telling me to get the right joint though , thats the information i was waiting for , helps me out alot. :banghead:
