all i know is make sure you dont mix synthetic and castor oil's together. if your switching make sure and run the old stuff completly out. my sons lil lt80 lost all compression because i mixed the 2 fuel/oil together. bummer is that i just rebuilt his 80. i took the piston out and the rings were totally stuck together. i couldnt even get my pick to pry them out. i had to go buy a new piston and rings. :wallbash:

as for the smokeless stuff all i know is that is what were supposed to run at indoor races.

I used to use that oil... it works good, at least I had no problems. It was suppose to be 100:1, but I used to mix it about 75:1. I just couldn't bring myself to mix it at 100:1. I have friends who used it at 100:1 though and as far as I know they didn't have any probelms with it. I've switched to Amsoil now but only because a friend of mine is a dealer for it.

100:1 holt shit that seems not right

Yup, alot of people do that and they do have to rebuild alot more often. I dont care if you have 100:1 oil from outerspace if you mix it at that ratio your going to have to rebuild pretty often. Never done it myself but Ive seen it done and sure enough those were the people constantly rebuilding. To some people its worth it. Others think it will last as long as say Castor 927 mixed at 32:1 but from what I have seen lets just say alot of blown top ends.

All Im going to say is that on a 2-stroke I rather see a little smoke come out rather than none.

same here. i could see using it for indoor events, but otherwise, i wouldn't risk it.
