I was out and about, when I saw the possible 2008/9 banshee. It's a 500cc 4stroke, with half the R1 motor in it, and boast a claim of 70 stock hp. The frame is derived from the YFZ450 and some of the R1. They also use the 450 headlights. Looked like it might be a nice ride, not a 2stroke but could have potential!

The concept has substance. Suzuki is bringing back the Quadracer as a four-poke.

 

If it were true they'd be in showrooms right now.

 

The 'Shee's days have been numbered for quite a while. There is no excuse for having a "resting year". Why would it take them all of 2007 to release the new four-poke version? Doesn't add up.

 

The term Banshee is associated with a death scream in Irish Folklore.

 

If anyone has ever heard a four-poke scream - record it. You'll make a fortune.

This is the same thing they did a few years ago when they ran a festure on the new Bombardier ATV that doubled as a personal watercraft. El retardo is you ask me, :shoothead:

dirtwheels is the most biased piece of shit magazine out there.. whoever fills their pockets gets the best reviews, simple as that.
