majicmike Posted February 22, 2007 Report Posted February 22, 2007 34mm? If you have already almost killed yourself I would get use to the power you already have before you buy cubs and really do kill yourself. Quote
dajogejr Posted February 22, 2007 Report Posted February 22, 2007 I'm thinking if you already almost killed yourself on it twice, you're not ready for a cub...LOL. They look like PJs.... There are numbers on the carbs, just above where the float bowl bolts on....write those down, post 'em here. That's funny...Mike, we posted the same thing, same time... Quote

magunit420 Posted February 22, 2007 Author Report Posted February 22, 2007 (edited) LOL :yelrotflmao: the numbers are PJ 67 RA 1 MJ And yes i would love to get hooked up on a 421 cub would be just right for me i basicly just ride the dunes. But how much would it be out the door with a cub kit and is this something i can install myself? I could handle a cub no problem i was just messin around in the woods and goin too fast and almost run into a tree wheelyin it was very scary i had to reach for my backup underware for times like that where you just take a big ole fat poop and thank god ur alive. PJ67RA1MJ numbers on bowl oh yeah did i get a good deal on this? for 2500 well a little more after taxes and back registration but it came wthe t5s, pro designs coolhead, the carbs and it being ported and bored, runs great and starts on first kick plus the new paddles on chrome. The only thing ive had wrong is the spark issue but i got that hashed out. Edited February 22, 2007 by magunit420 Quote

FireHead Posted February 22, 2007 Report Posted February 22, 2007 You may get an answer faster by emailing Sudco or posting this question over on PlanetSand. I say this because you need to have access to a Keihin catalog to decipher the serial number that you posted. Sudco is a huge distributor of Keihin products and there is a higher density of ATV parts retailers on PlanetSand. We know that they are Keihin PJ series carbs. I also would guess that they are 34mm based on the fact that you probably would experience rideability issues with your engine setup and larger carbs. Since you didn't mention anything like that I am assuming the bike runs ok. As for the 421 Cub, You probably need to master what you already have before moving up to something that couls potentially make twice as much horsepower compared to what you have now. To answer your other question: you can install the Cub cylinders your self very easily if you have access to a good set of metric automotive oriented tools and posess reasonable mechanical aptitude. Quote

No all the plastic is there in perfect condition i just had to break it down to get to t he coil and to clean it up a little bit. I live about an hour north of Reno i heard theres a good shop in reno called The Sand Mountain Specalists or something like that but thats the only place up here i know carrys the cubs. Anywhere in sacramento or central valley. I just need someone reliable is all to purchase parts but yeah was it worth the cash for my bike? Quote
