snedden9485 Posted February 10, 2007 Report Posted February 10, 2007 hey guys, i just spun my rear rims around on my banshee (near stock) and i ordered a set of spacers for the front wheels. will it make it much more stable? how much steering ability will i lose? i like how much more stable it is now with the rear rims spun around. thanks chris Quote
Bansh88 Posted February 11, 2007 Report Posted February 11, 2007 The negatives far outweight the positives on wheel spacers. Especially in the front. Quote

Just cough up a few bucks for some new rims with the proper backspacing. The spacers are bitchin'. I have +2 arms up front, and I still run my spacers. It is so much better when side hillin' or sharp turns. I haven't noticed slower steering on any negative's. Quote
Animalman294 Posted February 13, 2007 Report Posted February 13, 2007 I was wonderin' about those spacer's. I used them on my stang to clear the lower control arm with my rims, but wasn't sure with the quad's.................. Quote
Blue Duece Posted February 13, 2007 Report Posted February 13, 2007 if your going to launch your shee alot id steer clear of the front spacers........... Quote
yamaha04 Posted February 13, 2007 Report Posted February 13, 2007 well i had a set of Gforce front wheel spacers and i when i rode i ussualt try to launch my bike off whetever i could find and they held up evrey good. probably hard on the shocks and the A arms but i dont think the spacers themselves would have accualy broke. http://www.rockymountainatv.com/productDet...mp;navType=type Quote
