DILUSI Posted January 19, 2007 Report Posted January 19, 2007 looking for a set of the RZ350 exhaust flanges or cheep RZ exhaust . Quote
broke Posted January 20, 2007 Report Posted January 20, 2007 Tech II makes them for around $100 or you can go to a muffler shop and do it for $10 Quote
LiftdT4R Posted January 28, 2007 Report Posted January 28, 2007 Your from Jersey right? That's a sick project, I was damn tempted tp pick up that RZ engine from bansheecub and throw it in mine. One day I'll definately make the jump, the elctronics and stuff are damne xpensive is they need to be replaced though. Anyway, PM Yaxy, he might know where to find them, I talked to him a lot when I was tryin to decide on what to do, he just built a RZ, and he knows a shitload about them. Good luck bro, Jay Quote

LiftdT4R Posted January 1, 2008 Report Posted January 1, 2008 Bump for ya, they show up on e-bay from time to time, but are tought to come by. You almost done with your project bike yet? I thought you had it up and running already? Quote
broke Posted January 3, 2008 Report Posted January 3, 2008 They really are easy to build. The parts can be purchased cheaply at a muffler shop. Quote
broke Posted January 3, 2008 Report Posted January 3, 2008 (edited) The RZs are kind of a pain in the ass when you are building them, but you will be much better on your second try. Edited January 3, 2008 by broke Quote

I thought you had it up and running already? no i ended up picking up another o3 and that kinda help me off from completing this thing. i have a few more parts to coat and the suspension will be ready to get back on the frame. but im still having trouble on finding these flanges . you guys are saying go to the exhaust shop but the flanges they have dont have the groove for the gaskets needed. heatwave Posted January 7, 2008 Report Posted January 7, 2008 no i ended up picking up another o3 and that kinda help me off from completing this thing. i have a few more parts to coat and the suspension will be ready to get back on the frame. but im still having trouble on finding these flanges . you guys are saying go to the exhaust shop but the flanges they have dont have the groove for the gaskets needed. The 2 types of flanges I have dont have a groove. The gasket should compress when the flanges is torqued down . The one pictured on the bike is about 3/8 'thick and the one off the bike is about 3/16 thick and needs to be cut down a bit . Running a Dynoport 2 into 1 exhaust , the thicker flange works ok but the pipe is about 2 inches too far forward , it'll have to work until I can afford some new pipes. Quote
DILUSI Posted January 29, 2008 Author Report Posted January 29, 2008 i mite have a set but if i dont get them ill just try n fab something up. im realy getting tired of looking at this bike n not being able to do anything with it. Quote
