Time has come, selling my 03 , has a 48h rz350 motor using a banshee transmission. welded crank , 1st over wiseco's,head was cut by specII . Currently running 30mm flatslides on a boss intake with a dynoport 2 into 1 exhaust. Using stock RZ electronics and servo. Bike is no garage queen, but has been maintained. Looking to get 1900$. Located in southern MD in zip code 20677, 10 minutes from Budds Creek Moto-X park.

been looking around at mechanical ypvs kits. can anyone translate this https://www.mcracing.com.br/loja/ProdutosDe...hes.asp?id=1887 and figure out what this costs in dollars. It runs off the oil injection drive gear , its used on the Dt200 but can more that likely be adapted for RZ engines.

The 2 types of flanges I have dont have a groove. The gasket should compress when the flanges is torqued down . The one pictured on the bike is about 3/8 'thick and the one off the bike is about 3/16 thick and needs to be cut down a bit . Running a Dynoport 2 into 1 exhaust , the thicker flange works ok but the pipe is about 2 inches too far forward , it'll have to work until I can afford some new pipes.

Did Borut mention if his PPV controller was already programmed with 10 curves for the RZ350 motor, or will you have to program your own ? MY problem isnt the controller at this time,( it cycles just fine) its the original RZ's crappy coil and CDI , I have no spark I ran the RZ engine hard until 1995 , when I put the original banshee engine back in the frame and sold the quad. 24 years of electrical problems need to be found.

I forgot to add one thing. In europe, someone has designed a mechanical ypvs controller that runs where the oil pump is located. It may be possible to adapt this to the RZ motor , and sidestep the electronics alltogether. NOW , can anyone here read portugese ?? You should be able to pull 12v off the blue wire from the banshee voltage regulator or the yellow wire out of the stator. Brown wire on the Ypvs box is 12v positive, black is ground, Black/Yellow is ypvs signal. The ypvs wont have a battery to start the cleaning cycle, I may be able to scrounge a smoothing capicator off a WR200 to run the ypvs. After owning a number a yamahas with electric powervalves, Some things noticed are: On 800/1200/1300 cc waverunner/jetboat engines , the powervalve cleaning cycle is done a few seconds after engine shutdown. There is no seperate ypvs controller, its built into the CDI. Ypvs controllers from TZ , RZ's and some RD's are all pretty much the same. IF you want a nice rubber cover for your servo motor, get one off a waverunner servo or a 1992 WR200. They cost about 10$, and really keep the grime out. Part # for the WR200 cover is 34X-85825-00-00. YPVS servo motors can be used from the R1, waverunners, WR200 RZ's and TZ's Im also awaiting an update to this page : http://ypvsbox.free.fr/ypvsbox_en.html This guy is designing a programmable ypvs controller, and already has software up on his site. I have also heard that a zeeltronic ypvs controller could be triggered off the coil signal.

Has anyone seen or made this controller over at the french banshee site, the original drawing is at : http://www.chez.com/bansheequad/ypvs_schema.jpg MY old RZ ignition system seems to have given up , and I would like to use a banshee ignition with my RZ barrels. I also have heard that it may be possible to trigger the ypvs controller off the blk/white wire used for the banshee kill switch. I may be able to confirm that in a few days when my harness arrives. Any experienced RZ/SHEE builder out there...?
