CadillacBanshee
Im taking the clutch mechanism apart and the ball was welded to the first push rod. How the hell do i take the second push rod out? Its jammed in there pretty good. I tried tapping the engine side was and nothing.
Mike_1978
That same thing happened to me too.. what I did was split the case and remove the gear where the rod goes thru...
kubiac3
Agree, mine was welded inside the gear, I put it in a press and still wouldnt come out. Had to replace the gear shaft. It was around 80 bucks at the dealer ship.
MDS2106
Pop the cluch actuator arm out and dremmel the mushroomed part of the clutch rod smooth.I used a pointed diamond bit on the dremmel and a small pencil sized magnet thru the ball side to turn the rod as needed as dremmling,It takes a little time but I have done it twice with no problems. After all the mushromming has been removed the rod/ball will slide right out with the pull of the magnet. Then you take the magnet and stick it down the clutch arm hole and remove all of the metal filings.Change oil after first ride
Bansh-eman
mds if you have done this twice you need to either stop getting pulled with your clucth pulled or invest in a pancake bearing lol

BigRed350x
Get a ceramic ball... or a pancake bearing... or both! Or learn to ride without holding the clutch in all the time. LOL!
