Then maybe you could tell us what the difference is.

The dunable I had when I put it next to the override I have the shift drums were different. Dunno, didn't bother to measure or anything, the drums were different though. the dunable uses springs as well.

alright i got another question. What should i do get a dunable override, regular override, or just leave the transmission the way it is? Im afraid of getting a dunable because they're still new, im afraid of getting a regular override because i might forget and the transmission will back load, and i dont want to leave the tranny the way it is because i know its going to be harder to shift.? any suggestions? banghead

get the duneable. me and my bro both have a ton of ride time on ours with no issues. mine came from dave moore racing and my bros from redline racing. i highly recommend either one.

If you get a 421 cub and don't get a dunable or standard override, you're going to be wasting that motor....

I had a perfectly adjusted shifter, good clutch, newer fluid and the shiftstar modded. With all that HP, it don't like to shift, period.

It's no fun rocketing out...then having to slow down or let off for a WHILE only to grab the next gear....and it seems the more my wheels spun, the WORSE it shifted!

I get my tranny back tomorrow from getting a 1-5 but I wont get to try it out for quite a while.

Ditto here. Wednesday...but, waiting for the ice to freeze and get thick enough to ride on.

I'm giddy as a kid at Christmas!!!
