adrenaline junky Posted December 1, 2006 Report Posted December 1, 2006 What would be the best mod I could do to my banshee that's $250 or under to improve the speed noticeably? (Check my signature to make sure I don't already have it.) Quote

(Check my signature to make sure I don't already have it.) save onother 100 bucks and get it ported unless you want a trail woods port job than i say you got enough.but than again new rings or pistons, gaskets or get some v force reeds.but i would port it. Quote
csrmel Posted December 1, 2006 Report Posted December 1, 2006 rb porting will do it for 175. factor in a pair of pistons and some new gaskets and youre not much above 250. dollar for dollar porting is the best mod you can do to a banshee as far as engine mods are concerned. Quote
baddsheee Posted December 1, 2006 Report Posted December 1, 2006 save up for the porting. It says you got reeds but what kind? All shees have reeds. Quote
dajogejr Posted December 2, 2006 Report Posted December 2, 2006 18 paddle rear tire, please tell me that's a misprint....??? Save the money for porting, or get a shaved flywheel and timing plate now for around 100 bucks. Quote
4strokessuck Posted December 2, 2006 Report Posted December 2, 2006 Timing plate is cheap ($35). Quote

I dont loose any speed while going up the hill because of how light they are. And when you get them spinning tey will throw a 30 foot roost! I would highly recomend them to all of you hardcore duners out there. save up for the porting. It says you got reeds but what kind? All shees have reeds. I have Boyesen power reeds that came in toomy's pro rider kit. Quote

My banshee does just fine! I was racing a guy with the same mods as me and I was beating him up comp hill. The only reason why is because they hook up so well and are SO light. Quote
