**More grip from stock pegs**

I had the grinder laying around & thought I'd give it a try & sharpen up the pegs. Major improvement. My sneeks stick to the pegs really good. A better wheel & a bit of detailing & they'll be ready. Check out the before & after pictures.

I was thiking about doing the same thing to my double pegs, but those stainless IMS pegs sure are pretty.

Not really, I have 2mm allen pegs on my pedals on my BMX bike and they sitck up farther than the teeth on his footpegs and I ride with REALLY soft skate shoes and they dont show any wear at all and I've had them for almost a year.

Hell yes! I tried this about a year ago. Hopped on to check it out and it felt like sticky paper! BIG differance

i took stock z400 pegs and bolted them to mine so they are double wide, then i took a grinder to them and made them nice and sharp. my feet never slip off them.

This would work for me untill I get those IMS Pegs.

I've seen some of you already doubled up the pegs,

Maybe I'll go that route if i run into another stock pair!

I got ahold of a TRX peg set, they're wider than Banshee pegs. I'm going to try & mod up some kick ups by chopping up the TRX pegs.

One day I'll break off the $200 and buy the IMS pegs too, for now I'm using some HEP footpeg extenders...seem to do the trick so far.
