im good for anytime... sept would prolly not be good cus of sandfest.. alot of ppl will put this ride off for sandfest... i'd say aug or april would be good... june and july is way to hott aug is border line... might need to make a poll for the month most ppl come make it then work on a date from there....and also want to know if the godfather(lee) is gonna be able to make it???

Snakehunt is in April. might me good to do something within a month of snakehunt so the peeps who don't wanna fight 30,000 people can come out and actually ride. IMO

This sounds like a blast. I just went on mapquest to see how far it is.... A cool crisp 19 hours and 45 minutes. Only like 1,336 miles from door to dunes.... Damn that's far!

 

I'm in though. I've always wanted to head out there anyway....

I would be interested in going, I have only met JT in person at Silver Lake. Maybe us michigan guys (JT, Dave, 87sheerips, etc.)could hook up and caravan, if not consolidate. I vote for August, but I can try to make April.

Ok anyone have a date are a month, im there ready to ride out....Im leaveing from missouri, we went there last year and made it there in 10 hours not to bad..let me know the date im there...

I don't think anyone ever set any dates, but it's something we should go ahead and do considering it's almost the new year. I'm still going in late March, and I'd like to make this one too :beer:

 

I'm game for whatever, I don't have school or anything that would interfere....someone else pick the dates, I'll take the time off

Ya would somebody please set up some dates so we can get the ball rolling. I say set up a poll with all the months on it. vote on the month we want. After that we take the top three moneths and set dates on them. Wich ever one gets the most votes is the one we use. Wadda ya guys think?

As far as weather goes, me and my buddies have always found that the best time to be out there is either mid/late april to mid/late may, or early september to mid october. It is just way too hot in the summer, and if you don't have an rv you will freeze your nuts off in the winter.

I dunno how the hell I missed this the 1st time but of course I'm in. It's at the most a 3 hour drive for me.

 

And if you've never been at LS in August it's F'IN hot. There's is some shade near where most of the guys drag tho so that could be helpful. Let me know and I'll do what I can since I'm in OK.
