ghostryder420 Posted September 6, 2006 Report Posted September 6, 2006 I never rode any sand so I don't know what its like. I love the dirt tho- tight woods, fast trails, railroad beds, nasty rocky hillclimbs, puddles, streams- thats where i belong. Quote
Animalman294 Posted September 6, 2006 Report Posted September 6, 2006 If you have never riden' in sand, you really need to try and get a trip put together to the sand, you'll love it................ Quote
Ducman Posted September 8, 2006 Report Posted September 8, 2006 Do you prefer Filet Mignon or Hamburger? Quote
Hollister_Hitman Posted September 8, 2006 Report Posted September 8, 2006 (edited) Sand is cool but when you whoop someone's ass in the dirt trails it is more satisfying knowing that you have more skill then them rather then more motor in the sand Edited September 8, 2006 by Hollister_Hitman Quote
Animalman294 Posted September 8, 2006 Report Posted September 8, 2006 Draggin' in sand takes skill. You start bouncin' through the "whoopty whoos" at the bottom and if you can't control it you loose. There's reaction time, body postion, etc. They are two different types of racin', like hill climbin', flat track and asphalt drags. They all take different skills and depending on how skilled you are will determine whether you win or not............. Quote
lincster Posted September 8, 2006 Report Posted September 8, 2006 100% sand for me. My buddies didn't understand why until I took them to the dunes. Now they all have paddles and don't go in the desert anymore. :baseball_w00t: Quote
NY350twin Posted September 8, 2006 Report Posted September 8, 2006 This question really has to do with where you live. If you live on the west coast your probrably gonna ride Sand. If you live on the east coast like me your probrably gona ride more dirt and trails. bec the most amount of sand is gonna be a pit, land under development, or the beach and both are very limited. So its really a East vs. West coast thing. Quote
