Ya, you need to be careful buying crap off of Fleabay, but sometimes thats what you get CRAP......... :banghead:

But then sometimes you get a real honest person and get a pretty good deal, so you just need to know how to handle it. It sounds like you did a great job, especially with the advice of fellow HQ'ers............

Here is what I would do... report the problem to ebay and paypal and ECC. Tell ECC that you will ship the one you have back as soon as you receive a BRAND NEW stator from them like what was advertised in their auction. Don't ask for a refund... you'll come out ahead if you make them live up to what their auction states. It's a legal binding contract according to ebay.

I live 15 mins away from there so if you need some help dealing with them let me know.

I thought about making them get me a new one but I have had the shee torn down for over 2 months now and all I am waiting for is a damn stator. I figured this jackass would jerk me around for at least a few more weeks, so I just placed a call into Ricky Stator today and on Tues. I will have a brand new plug & play 200w stator. Wish I did that 3 weeks ago. Oh well.
