gipperz Posted August 3, 2006 Report Posted August 3, 2006 Wicked, I'm surprised that it didn't break the straps holding that car on the dyno. I've seen cars at car craft magazine in the minnesota fair grounds that shut the holley dyno down at 12oo hp and broke 4 straps in the back. I get nervous when those rear tires get distorted. Shit happens real quick. Quote
hittintrees srh Posted August 3, 2006 Report Posted August 3, 2006 on that last pull he hit 85 psi, then blew his head gasket.............85psi.......holy shit!!!!!!!!!!! Quote
gipperz Posted August 3, 2006 Report Posted August 3, 2006 Thats alot of boost, buddy of mine was running 30 psi on his mitsubishi eclipse and it finaly failed. I'll stick to high compression and big cams and american cars. Quote
Cotton eyed Joe Posted August 3, 2006 Report Posted August 3, 2006 I think you could toss a whole wood chuck into that turbo. I'd be just as impressed seeing how they got the hood to close. Quote

Spitfire Posted August 3, 2006 Report Posted August 3, 2006 Most pointless setup ever. It only makes power for a split second, where's the fun in that? As said before I'll stick to my V8's that make torque and hp starting at 2000rpm's up to 6500rpm's, hell, my STOCK LT1 Trans Am makes 300+ ft/lb's of torque at 1700rpm's, and I have the dyno graph to prove it. :baseball_w00t: Quote

flipcarre Posted August 3, 2006 Report Posted August 3, 2006 Thats a mean car, i love Supras, but i like my '69 Mustang Mach 1 more. Never have a passenger in that car, the hood would block all vies on the left.. Quote
