I just installed one because I am going to run it at a dragstrip and it's required. They are easy to install, one wire to ground and one wire to orange wire on the coil.

I was told that if you have a dyna ignition to not ground it to the frame. He told me to hook it up to the wires to the stock kill switch on the left side of the handlebars.

That said.I've wired mine up but have yet to start it.Still waiting on my motor to get back.

i wanted it mounted in the front not rear is this possible ? and mine says its a closed circiut switch and when pulled it connects the wires  i was gonna do it through the key switch but they need to be looped to run im lost........

I ran one wire to ground and the other to the orange wire going into my coil. The install at the coil was a little tricky due to the short wire and lack of space.

I'll take one monday and post it for ya. If ya need it earlier i'm sure someone can get one on here for ya. As far as mounting goes i used to have it mounnted to my bars but just recently i purchased a bar calmp from NOSS machine and it is custom made to mount on your bar clamp.

they are required anywhere i've drag raced.in my oppinion the tether switch is a great idea on any atv or trail bike and should be mandatory .if they are in working order and the tether is attached to rider like its supposed to be and the rider is thrown off the motor will be shut down and prevent the machine from running off out of controll by its self and causing extra damage to its self or even worse an innocent bystander.
