well i did a search and found nothing, so heres the question, at low idle theres a noise that kinda sounds like a bad bearing and it sounds like its comming from the front spocket area, and at any rpm above a low idle it goes away. it started after riding dirt and rock trails, and didnt do it until i was pulling it up on the trailer and just before i killed it (steep trailer ramp) it made the noise for the first time, tranny and lower motor are all stock. thanks for any help

it could be piston slap but not likely. did you over heat the bike on the trails?

or getting on the clutch hard on the trails and now you have a clutch housing knock due to the rubber fittings behind the clutch basket

well now i think its the clutch, i messed with it more and it sounds more like a chatter, and i can feel it on the clutch cover. so my question is at low idle (almost to die) can something wrong with the clutch cause a chatter sound (in nutral)
