DonnG03shee Posted April 9, 2006 Report Posted April 9, 2006 My 03 shee has a set of 68.5mm bore drag ported cylinders, pj34mm carbs, cool head with bid bore domes,V3 reeds & vito fat bastard pipes. I could trade my cylinders & carbs plus 350.00 for a set of cheetah cylinders with pwr valves & pwk35mm carbs. The cheetah cylinders need bored and a new top end, or should I just go with a new set of cubs ported for 4mm crank and run the stroker kit? The cheetahs are not ported for stoker. What is the best for drag racing? Quote

The Cub and the Cheetah make about the same power until u get into the bigger strokes like 7mm and 10mm and so on. Quote
lowriderb Posted April 9, 2006 Report Posted April 9, 2006 you best bet for draggin would be to get the cubs for the smaller strokes.. on up to about 10mm is where you start seeing the differences, the pipes you have arent the best set up either.. the cubs and cheetah's like to breathe.. Quote
blueshee03 Posted April 9, 2006 Report Posted April 9, 2006 in my oppinion i think you would be further ahead with the cubs and stroker kit instead of the cheetah.till you get the cheetah renikasiled and setup you probally won't run as well but you'll have about as much or money in it. Quote

DonnG03shee Posted April 11, 2006 Author Report Posted April 11, 2006 Thats a really good deal, but out of my reach at this time. Thanks anyway for the reply. I did talk to jim at passion racing, really nice guy and very helpful too. I decided on the cheetah cubs and 4mm crank, seems to be more suited for the type riding I'm doing, and cheaper. Thanks again for all who replied. Quote
