superang Posted March 25, 2006 Report Share Posted March 25, 2006 alright, so i hooked it all up and i got nothing... no read at all... what can be the problem... this tach that i have has 4 wires, a ground, a ignition source, a tach read wire and a light... now i hooked tham all up, and i cant get a read... i tryed hookin it to the dyna fs green wire and i got nothing, and i tryed to the orange wire coming from the coil, but still nothing, what can this mean???? how can i get it working....? BLUE STREAK Posted March 26, 2006 Report Share Posted March 26, 2006 could it be you don't have any power at your ignition source I would wire it in to the head lights and just run with the lights on all the time. PUSH THE THROTTLE Posted March 27, 2006 Report Share Posted March 27, 2006 Get yourself a tiny tach like $50 from Dennis Kirk or elsewhere. all you do is mount it and wrap the tach wire around a spark plug wire.
