hi guys so on Friday I'm going to come down from Canada ( I'm from Alberta) heading to Monroe Washington on business. and then Saturday i will be in Portland Oregon watching some drag racing witch is also part of the business trip.. any who. I'm looking to buy some exhaust. so let me know Whare you buy your parts. I'm hopping to get some DMC aliens or pro circuit pipes with 296 silencers so let me know if your local dealer has them on the shelf.. and if you care why i want these pipes 1 spark arestors ... 2 both of these would fit my riding stile. yes i know they are different pipes (low to mid ) and (mid to Hi) i do both kinds of ridding and would be Happy with ether. 3. these pipes i can also order threw my local dealers if i wreck one or brake one.( i try not to buy parts local as all the dealers are ass holes, and charge way more money then they should. 4. not a fan of FMF. seen way to much of there dirt bike pipes and not happy with the quality. 5 toomey is hard to find up hear and i don't like there spark arestors.. i know about all the big mail order places. but i figured if I'm going to be in town i would swing buy and pick some up ... and save some coin on shipping and brokerage.. thanks for your help . i have a google list of dealers to phone tomorrow but i figured id ask on hear to.

yes ignition for shure this can happen. seen lots of engines run backwards . never seen a banshee tho. But then again never seen another banshee run other then mine the old 2 stroke Detroit's run back words real good. smoke out the air filter. the oil pump does not like it tho. those old engines you can buy them by direction the military used lots of (backwards) ones I have personally made a 4 stroke electronically controlled direct injection diesel run back words. ( Cummins M-11 ) anything is possible

If you go to the store to try one on make shure you take YOUR helmet and what else you ride in (chest protector????) I do that all the time go to a store try something on. figure out witch size i need then go home and order it off the Internet for way cheaper...

I was watching some super-cross on TV and at least 1/2 the pros were waring them. if you think you need one go for it. if any thing you will be safer.

yes there is always a proper tool for the job. but I live a hour from a town that would have a chain cutter so i have had to iprovice. just making a suggestion for, if the guy was in a pinch. yes the proper tool will work better. but if time is tight get out the grinder. only do one link at a time and don't get carried away . :thumbsup: later boys

buy a chain cutter ?????????? you mean a grinder to grind the rivet flush with the link and then hit with a small punch and separate one link. do it one link at a time don't get carried away. save the o-rings for the master link..the master link o-rings get eaten.

the e brake perch will kill it . it will idle fine you can start to move then it will just cut out. Unplug the connector and you should be good.(I think.. is been a year since mine) I did the same thing pulled the cable off and the bike ran like shit. Grind all that mess off there to it will look way better. If I am wrong boy's please chime in. I just cant remember....

I am from Canada yes we do have the 08 at the dealership orange and black looks bad ass. way to much coin for me to buy one. they do exist. 6 months ago I was at the dealership picking up some yamalube i always go look in the banshee corner and they had a 05 they just puled out of the box. it was going for about $2500 less then the 07. I sit on them and they feel so new but i look at them and think about all the stock parts I would have to rip off and replace just to make it right Pipes, tires, suspension >>>>>> fix an old one and make it the way you want. I hate my local dealer you go in there tell them you have a banshee and they look at you like a freak then he calls over to his buddy and says this guy rides a banshee and thy both giggle. I say what do you ride . Oh I got a yfz 450 and he has a raptor. have you ever been on a banshee no do you ride those 4 strokes or just rev them up in you garage for your girlfriend. what ? I have wicked A arms with yfz 450 shocks. It is grate, the shocks are so adjustable. set the ride height to what you want play with the adjusting screws. Done. smooth smooooooth

what are you asking ??? #1...You cant get to neutral bike stopped . engine running clutch lever pulled.?????? #2....or you pull the lever and nothing happens? does not disengage? the best way to find neutral. is when you are costing slow speed pull the clutch and then pull up from first gear Just a smige let out clutch rev it up. IF its in second go back to first and try again.. or just shut the bike down stick it in neutral and then start it back up..

has any one seen the new 08 banshees. orange and black looks bad Ass. every one in the states thinks the banshees are dead but they are still alive... my research about brule has turned up this!!!!!!!this is from a year ago .... latley i found this on another fourm ... I found this on another site ..... think the only way into Brule is the Kinky Lake road. Its about 10 - 15 km west of Hinton, and is a right off the highway. There are 2 campsites, one at Kinky Lake and another at another small lake near Kinky. I think it is Wildhorse Lake. If you like to pay, you can stay there, but they don't allow ATVs to be ridden in the campsite. When we go we ramdom camp up the road from there. If you stay right instead of going into the lakes, you will come to a tee to the left. WARNING - the road can be little rough, so depending on what you are towing etc., you may want to scout the road out before you venture in. I have seen a lot on enclosed trailers in close to the dunes, but I wouldn't recommend going in too deep with a big trailer, its only a couple minute ride in from the tee. Take the left to get into the dunes. Follow that road a km or 2 to the first left, and follow that road in to the dunes. Have fun, it is an interesting place.

ALBERTA ONLY don't shoot the messenger!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! but all public lands Are closed for may long if you have a truck, quad, dirt bike horse, alcohol, or a pulse you will be told to go home........ this is only for may long because of all the grad parties, dunks and total destruction that happened this weekend. dont even try to go they will be every ware. there is more destruction in this one weekend then all others combined. this is according to local SRD at the red deer sportsman's show. double check with srd before going out on may long this has been discussed on Albertan off road forums so i am not making this up!!
