Sassa Massa Posted March 8, 2006 Report Posted March 8, 2006 hey all, I bought my banshee used and from what I can tell, the previous owner flipped it or crashed it or something. my right front wheel tilts outward at the top and my left front wheel tilts inward at the top. If I put a couple of 2x4's under the right rear tire, it makes the front wheels pretty much where they should be, but then of course the rear is outta whack. I dunno how the hell I'd even begin to try to straighten it so I'm gonna be looking for a frame over the next few months. Any idea how much one of those suckers is gonna cost me, new or used? Quote
knight_ripper Posted March 8, 2006 Report Posted March 8, 2006 Ive seen um used from 200-600 I think 400 is a good price for a newer frame. 2000 and up. Quote

Wallrat Posted March 8, 2006 Report Posted March 8, 2006 Kinda depends really. If your state requires registration as most do then you need a frame w/ paperwork. Those are generally a little more expensive - say $400 or so. If you shop around you can usually get em for cheaper than that though. Usually the $200 frames are w/out titles - doesn't always mean they're stolen since new frames from the factory come w/out VIN's. There's a thread going on right now that says everything you gotta do to get a new VIN and it sounds like a major PITA. You can get a frame shipped to you for about $100 from anywhere in the lower 48 via Greyhound. Quote
woodro77 Posted March 8, 2006 Report Posted March 8, 2006 i got a frame with paperwork 300+ shipping Quote
Wicked98Shee Posted March 9, 2006 Report Posted March 9, 2006 theyre $569.00 from the local stealership ... Quote
Stinger Posted March 9, 2006 Report Posted March 9, 2006 "Cost" on a new frame is only 350 or so...I'd have to look it up again. If you've got a hookup at the stealership, that's your best bet. Quote
