. Posted March 7, 2006 Report Posted March 7, 2006 I wouldnt send my motor to CT.....I've seen their work compared to others.....I'd probably rather have it ported by East Coast Quote
Too Many Toys Posted March 7, 2006 Report Posted March 7, 2006 just let your girl no to not slip off that forward kicker ooooooouuuuuccccchhhhh!!!! mines got 185lbs comp and my girl thought she was gonna get on it and take it to the gas station.. lol needless to say she did make it to the store and had a HUGE!! bruise on her shin id go with ESR over CT definatly,, id go with curtis sparks with their motors but there usually like a year out!! 483480[/snapback] Thats the thing that scares me the most. A banshee will hurt but the 250r is going to leave a major mark. Quote
banshee350twin Posted March 7, 2006 Author Report Posted March 7, 2006 well i compared the prices from ct and esr ct is cheaper thats who i am gonna send my engine to i probably will send it out this summer when i but the r and if i wanted it ported better ill just send her out haha and its hard to listen to outher people when they say stuff bout ct i here there good then i here they suck everyone has diff thoughts about things dont u think. nik Quote

pipebomb Posted March 12, 2006 Report Posted March 12, 2006 Hell, what do ya want to know about 'em. I've had mine about a year and a half and was that ever a wake up call. all 4 years are essentually the sameand most of the parts are inter-changeable if you match them correctly. but there are a million small different changes over the years. banshee350twin Posted March 12, 2006 Author Report Posted March 12, 2006 aliright im sick of making my mind up fuck the banshee no offence everyone ive always wanted an r so im gonna sell the shee get the r she is for sale this thursday but anyway how much horse u think a fully ported esr 370 cylinder kit with a 5mm crank be pushing and how do they wheelie must be nice and is the wheel base much longer then a blaster Quote
2twin350s Posted March 12, 2006 Report Posted March 12, 2006 the 250r hondas are great machines.there is really nothin negative about them.but all around, the 250r is a going to teach most mild modded banshees a lesson.the only place i can outrun a 250r is on the topend in 6th gear.i love my banshees.but the next quad i build, will prolly be a 250r.cant go wrong with a 250r,and on a tight mx track,i bet they can still get past some new 450 quads. I can't stand reading anything you post. Most of the time I don't know if your trying to tell us something or if your asking a question. Start out by using some periods every now and again. Then maybe some time down the road you can try spell check. I know your young, but by 15 you should have this down pat. Quote

banshee350twin Posted March 13, 2006 Author Report Posted March 13, 2006 yea i am gonna start a ground biuld up this summer i might need to by a blaster to ride around on till finished but probley wont Quote
latheboy Posted May 13, 2006 Report Posted May 13, 2006 I had an 86 250r. I loved it! The biggest benifit to an R over the banshee to me is, if you toast a banshee, u gotta buy two of everything. 2 pistons, bore 2 cylinder, tune 2 carbs....... And the 250r's swingarm and rear axle carriers (chain tension) are light years ahead of the banshee setup........ Quote
