Hey Bansh.... I got bored on lunch one day at the shop and made a few on the CNC. If you dont want to spend the $10 for a "ghetto fab" shiny piece of metal (actually I think the kids nowadays are calling it "Bling Bling") I could just hook you up with one.

By your rational, I should have paneling across my frame. Maybe an entire body over the bike, like a Funny Car.

Just havin fun Bro. I like the swinger you run though.

Oh yeah you're right that looks waaayyy cleaner than my shiny piece of metal. :thumb: have you thought of removing that attention grabbing chrome from your pipes too. :baseball_w00t:

FUNNY SHIT! :yelrotflmao: :yelrotflmao:

Ya. A lot of people don't like my philosophies on minimalization. If it doesn't need to be there, I try not to have it on there.

I'm gonna take off the stock clutch perch of my 87 shee and get rid of the parking brake. I was wondering if there are any special steps to doing this, and also if i could get some recommendations on some clutch perches to replace it with. Thanks

ASV clutch lever all the way. Heard alot of good comments on them so decided to get one. Best clutch lever i have ever used. If it ever breaks they will replace it for free. I purchased it from a guy on eBay that sells refurbished ones. Looks brand new and the price was great. http://stores.ebay.com/ASV-Inventions

They're way better than stocks. I really like the feel of the ASV.

And you still get the 5 yr warranty on the refurbished? I guess it wouldn't matter at a good price like that, just buy another.

The seller on eBay says there is only a one year warrenty on the refurbished models.

He prob works for ASV and sells the repaired ones on the side. 1 yr is good enough. Have you seen the shorty lever. I think that might work really well.

Ive heard shortys get hard to pull after a hard day of riding. Do you guys notice a difference?

i got out the grinder and took off the parking brake bracket part of the perch. it's ground down flat and looks just like a regular perch. a little black paint to cover up the grinding marks and a little time was all i had in it. here's a pic

I just finished doing the same thing actually. Looks pretty much just like that :headbang: I think they look pretty good this way. I did mine fairly quick so it doesnt look as good as yours
