Bought the bike with a motor just rebuilt which it was. It was built by top dog in portland our something. Some dumb mech. riged the reeds together one side had bosyen and other stock  also they drilled into the reeds rigging them together  poped one of the reeds through but it did no damage luckly. Most the reason why it did no damage is because i could only make it run for about 2 secs. but just ran to salem and found a guy selling a newer stock cage with new bosyens in it for $20 bones. Now ill I need is some manifolds. PM me if anyone has some

Took off the carbs and there is motor oil in them!! Does anyone know how this could have possibly happened :wacko: I know it is motor oil, and I know I could not have mixed tranny oil into my gas for a FACT, because I had no tranny oil handy, only castor... My airfilter is really dirty, but I am just cleaning it now so I will see if that helps. My thoughts were maybe it couldn't suck from the airfilter, so it sucked from somewhere else, and that would be the tranny? Is there a breather hose or something that it could have sucked out of? thanks...

did you mix your gas before you put it in the tank??.. im sure you did . just makin sure ... some idiot put regular gas in his yz85 the other week .. and .. BOOM! no compression

bla bla bla

i would get new spark plugs to be on the safe side ...also i would use regular yamalube 2R with chevron 93 ..ohh yeah... and clean your carbs if its not to much trouble!! ... make sure your top end is tourqed on tight!

you pretty much have got to have the right crank seal or a case gasket leaking if you are positive that your fuel is mixed properly, there is no way you should be getting trans oil like that. take it back where ya bought it and make em fix it right, it's still under warranty isn't it????
