Bansheeduner02 Posted February 16, 2006 Report Posted February 16, 2006 stripping? well first take everything off and when u do make sure to bag and mark what the parts are and where they go. for motor mods i did: shift cam-120 stroker kit-800 porting-400 stator and timing plate-200 some pipes and dual k&ns-1000 thats just some of the bigger stuff. then the bling cost about another 500 for: stator cover clutch cover waterpump cover brake block off some new levers hide-a-key etc. Quote

knight_ripper Posted February 16, 2006 Report Posted February 16, 2006 I intentionall threw out every receipt from every part I have purchased. I personally dont want to know that I spent 4500 on a used shee. then put another 6G's in parts on her. Not to mention when I break shit. those then need replacing. Tires, and wheels, oh man. And not to mention, the fluel costs, or liquid costs..ie. mix, tranny fluid, brake fluid, radiator coolant. also, spark plugs and TOOLS. dont forget the tools needed to work on them. lol. all in the name of HOBBY. My wife often says that I spend more time and money on the shee than her and my kids. I have to agree. But it wont last forever, and soon the kids will grow up. Then they will be getting all my change. but for now.. im gonna have one kick ass ride. instead of a ride that kicks my ass. Happy 2 strokin. Quote
