What all would I need to build a 7mm stroker cub. Carb sizes?

Does anyone have one like this? What do you think? How reliable is it?

How much am I looking to spend on this project? Would it cost much more to do a 10mm?

If it's been asked before, sorry.

usually found most people have been having good luck with the larger carbs 40's seem to work real well.. the 10mm's would only cost a little more for the cylinders and crank.. the trenching done would be about the same cost..

there is someone on planetsand selling a 7mm cub set up alreayd built.. im not sure how much he's looking to get..

cylinders are the same cost right across the board 875.00 wether it be a 4,7,10mil

case trenching is about the same, cranks are within a few dollars, have to run big bore pipes with a 7 or 10 any way, gonna need a long ass swing arm, big carbs 39s should work, vf2's or 3's new intakes for bigger carbs, cool head stroker domes, straight cut gears, lock-up clutch, tz crank bearings, override tranny.

the list goes on and on.

Would u necessarily need a lock up clutch and straight cut gears if its going to be a play/rec bike and not a full time drag shee? Also a override too with the 7 or 10.

I thought that cpi small bore inframes could work on a 7mm stock cylinder not drag ported.

Its not gonna be a very good play bike. A buddy of mine has a 7mm cub and he can't keep the front end down on his +2 swinger. Right now he's looking at a +6 if I remember correctly. Anything over +4 and the handling starts to really go to shit. So yeah, you'll need a lockup clutch and straight cut gears for that DRAG motor.

Not Drag ported not a drag bike plus it will be on stock cylinders. Would i still need lock up clutch and straight cut gears?

a +6 isnt going to reduce the handling all that bad.. a +2 with a 7mm is just nuts.. i wouldnt ride something like that with any less than a 8 over with at least 10-13 paddle 22's depending on the riding in this case 22in non tripple buff tires would be best...

its a good idea to have straight cuts. you dont HAVE to have them but its recommended. if not, you need to at least run 2 clips on the bearing on the clutch side. this will help with the side pulling force that the angle cut gears put on the crank. the lockup is not absolutely necessary either but its recommended. youll more than likely have slippage with a 7mm with any clutch..
