DaFish Posted February 10, 2006 Author Report Posted February 10, 2006 yes, i got it to the rpm i want it to idle at and the guy at toomey told me i had to unplug the tors box i did that and it idled. now i gotta figure out air/fuel mix. and any suggestions on how much to turn it out? Quote
DaFish Posted February 11, 2006 Author Report Posted February 11, 2006 (edited) got it to idle now and chokes r off i put it in gear and let the clutch out give it gas and it dies and i fugred it out by not giveing it any gas and to goes then after your get rollin you just have to be easy on the throttle and then it goes ok and if you put the chokes on it run better but not all the way. so what you guys think of that? and the right side is popping? Banchetta Posted February 12, 2006 Report Posted February 12, 2006 Do those carbs have separate chokes or do they have a choke tube between them like the stockers? Also when you disconnected the tors, did you disconnect the little black box above the left exhaust? disconnect the wire going from the clutch towards the gas tank? Make sure both of them are disconnected. Quote

DaFish Posted February 17, 2006 Author Report Posted February 17, 2006 (edited) the plugs and black with alot of build up on them also on the air/fuel screw if you turn it clockwise does it lean it out or make it richer? Edited February 17, 2006 by DaFish Quote
Wallrat Posted February 17, 2006 Report Posted February 17, 2006 Its an air screw. If you turn it clockwise you close off the air, so that makes it richer. Quote
Banchetta Posted February 25, 2006 Report Posted February 25, 2006 Disconnect the wire going from the clutch handle towards the gas tank?? Also, does it rev out clean once the powerband kicks in now? Is it bogging just before powerband or from powerband and on? What happens if you just hold it wide open for 5 seconds? Does it clean out? Quote
