USPS got me for 80 bucks, 20 to ship and a $60 oversize surcharge :shootself:  banghead  banghead

That fucken oversize surcharge is a bitch aint it? I learned that one the hard way the first time I shipped a -2 swingarm in a standard sized box through USPS.

Its actually cheaper buying two boxes at Office Depot that are too small for the swingarm, and then use one for a top and one for a bottom and tape the shit out of them than it is to use a box that fits. The length goes oversize by about an inch.

only down side to grayhound is you have to ship and pickup at the station as fed ex delivers item to the buyers door

I used to ship the shrink wrap way but people bitch alot if it ain't in a box  got bad feedback that way on ebay a while back, now box and grayhound is only way I ship frames, plastics, anything big.

yeah, go greyhound....only way to go...had to ship a rear window from a suburban from Cali to Wisconsin once, ups wouldn't touch it 'cause of liabillty, and fed ex wanted over $200, I went to grey hound and shipped it for $30...and guy had it next day....

Just a little something I learned when I shipped my banshee frame to Utah from Wash. st. If you can get UPS to classify your package as "irregular" instead of the actual dimensions it will wind up being less than half the normal price.

Frame irregular=$38

frame by dimensions= $118
