ogre03 Posted February 2, 2006 Report Posted February 2, 2006 If you do it and some how mess it up, you can always pick up some used cages off e-bay, or from probably about anyone who's running aftermarket for cheap. I say go for it. Or if you are would feel beter about it, get some from e-bay, and hack on those ones. The point is, just make sure you leave enough material for the reeds to seal. Quote
dawarriorman Posted February 2, 2006 Report Posted February 2, 2006 (edited) The problem I see with it, is the only there is only 2 places to remove material from. The divider, which would help but isn't a huge amount of area. And the base of the reed, which is a huge amount of area, but the reed doesn't open up down there. The reed opens at the tip. If someone can give me a dyno showing a difference, I might change my mind, but Im pretty sure I don't have to worry about that. You want something to give you cheap hp, get a timing plate.
