ok, i have a 40 tooth in the back, 14 in the front, and im buying t5's off a buddy, right now i have pro circuits... i just also bought new rims off the same guy, but the rear ones were a different size, they were an 8 inch diameter, and my current tires are 10, so i bought new tires. the tires i bought were 20 inch tires, and i had 22 inch iRAZRs, so im just wondering if i should go up a tooth in the front, or drop a tooth in the back, for example go 15 in the front 40 in the back, or 38 in the back and 14 up front... or should i just keep it the way it is?

is the 15 in the front gonna hurt my low-end? i do mostly trail riding, with some wide open trails, and sometimes some street runs... the guy at work said i should either stay with the same gearing, or go to a 38 in the back...

1 tooth in the front is worth 3 in the back.

I will run a 13 in the dunes. but run 14/15 in the trails.

and yes anything higher than a 15 will take from your low end a bunch.

I like the 15/41 setup too.
