JMaN05 Posted January 23, 2006 Report Posted January 23, 2006 title says it.. looking for the best trail/xc pipe Quote
badbanshee01 Posted January 24, 2006 Report Posted January 24, 2006 Paul Turner Mid Range Pipe has the most low and mid range power of any pipe out there. I have fatty's and they are a little better for low end over stock but rip in the high rpm's. I have also heard pro circuits are a pretty good mid-range pipe that may suit your needs. I think T-5's are more top end than anything. Be sure to upgrade your intake system while your at it. I got the pro flow adapter kit and it is nice Quote
decon Posted January 25, 2006 Report Posted January 25, 2006 2 in 1 pipe for tight trails, pt mids for the most low end out of dual pipes while still having good top end. if you dont care for top end get the 2 in 1 pipe. Quote
JMaN05 Posted January 25, 2006 Author Report Posted January 25, 2006 i like my top end. and the pro circuits are what i have now...i was thnking about going with FMF fatty's power core 2 silencers..? looking for good bottom, but controlable in trails with a decent top end. Quote
fastbanshee4u Posted January 25, 2006 Report Posted January 25, 2006 You will not like fatties after having Circiuts. You would like FMF gnarleys if you want faster response.Just get your compresion up for better low end and ride it fast.Thats what banshees are for Rev,Rev and Rev,when you get tired of that buy a Raptor or other 4 stroke. . Posted January 25, 2006 Report Posted January 25, 2006 Run LRDs. More low end grunt than almost any other pipe out there and pull as long up top as T5's. Seriously, I went from stock to LRD's, and never really had a problem with having to use the clutch in really tight woods just messing around and such. Bought my second banshee that had Fatties on it and kept stalling it everywhere and was like wtf? Then I remembered/learned how to "clutch". Needless to say 2 rides later the 2nd shee had LRD's on it as well. Quote
JMaN05 Posted January 26, 2006 Author Report Posted January 26, 2006 what about toomey T5's? are they good for trail? Quote

Banshee~ Posted January 26, 2006 Report Posted January 26, 2006 fmf gnarly is another good choice. Quote
Banchetta Posted January 26, 2006 Report Posted January 26, 2006 Pt mids, hands down for the best low end w/ good top...If you can't afford them, then go w/ fmf gnarlies or fmf sst's. Quote
Guest LRDshee Posted January 26, 2006 Report Posted January 26, 2006 I've got the adjustables LRD's and I can't say a word about it. These pipes rocks !! I mostly ride trails (2-4th gears) and never touch the clutch, even with a 15th on the front, with a stock motor. My pipes are adjust all the way for lowend and seems to pull harder and higher than my buddy's bikes (T5, T6, and SSt) Maybe it's the gearing ?!?! They all have stock gearing... Quote
