Roll4Fun350 Posted January 8, 2006 Report Posted January 8, 2006 I just got a Vito's 404 Big Bore kit, i have a machine shop that will pull the old sleeves out, bore it, and put the new ones in, but do i need a special press machine to get the pistons on the rods or can i do his myself? I figured because it has a needle bearing it must not be a tight press fit. Quote
locogato11283 Posted January 8, 2006 Report Posted January 8, 2006 the pistons dont take special tools for install..put one of the clips in. set the bearing in the rod. slide the piston down and slide thewrist pin thru. then install the other wristpin clip... Quote
