I just installed my Noss Head. I didnt use the acorn nuts because they bottom out on the studs, so i used the stock nuts. Now i have coolant leaking through the threads on the studs. Anyone else have this problem?

I had the same problem I just used a little sealant on the threads and retorque the nuts and that helped. Then after I put new domes in it I went with the acorn nuts and those seem to work alot better. No problems with them so far.

My o-rings looked perfectly in place during installation. Im going to try the sealant on the threads. But the only concern I have is that the coolant could be getting into the cylinders. Did anyone find this to happen to them?

I have the noss head and i used the cap nuts that came with the head. You should put a little silicone sealer on the stud threads.and for your studs being to long make sure that thay did not losen up from the jugs when you took off the old head.Make sure you use the copper washers and torque the head to 20ft./lbs

I used the acorn nuts on mine and had no problems at all. read the directions!!! It says to put RTV sillicone on the threads and then torque! That's axactly what I did and zero leaks!!!
