jeepman137 Posted November 3, 2005 Report Posted November 3, 2005 (edited) ok, i have this guy i work with, he has tons of parts that he used to use, but now they just sit in his garage, and he made me an offer on some beadlocks he has. i dont know if they are blue label, red label, or anything like that, all i know is that they are douglas true beadlocks, he said he paid upwards of $600 for all 4, and offered them to me for $150, he originally offered $300, but then said he is desperate for money right now, so dropped it own to $150... i figured they will look good on my banshee after a little cleaning... i remember seeing a little gouge in one the rim, didnt look like it would affect anything like holding air or anything, but just appearance, so im wondering if they are worth the $150? dawarriorman Posted November 3, 2005 Report Posted November 3, 2005 Hell yeah, get them. IMO the fact that you can easily change your tires makes them worth it, at that price anyways. Plus Quote
blackandyellowshee Posted November 3, 2005 Report Posted November 3, 2005 Wanna make $50? I'll buy em off ya for $200 Quote
jeepman137 Posted November 4, 2005 Author Report Posted November 4, 2005 no way, lol, im definitely buying them, cant pass up this deal... Quote
RATBIKE0130 Posted November 4, 2005 Report Posted November 4, 2005 The only bad thing about those wheels is the weight. They are a lot heavier than standard wheels. Quote
Ducman Posted November 4, 2005 Report Posted November 4, 2005 Those rims probably are $150 each new which would be $600 for a set. I would jump on that deal in a heart beat. You could easily e-bay that set for $300 if you dont like them. I think they only make bead loccks in .190, so similar to Red label. Quote
jeepman137 Posted November 7, 2005 Author Report Posted November 7, 2005 does anybody know of a site that sells these where i can see a picture or information or anything? i couldnt find them on RM, and did a search but nothing... Quote
jeepman137 Posted November 7, 2005 Author Report Posted November 7, 2005 ok, found them on there, i was going to the sport wheels instead of ultimate ones... the guy im buying them from said that the only real blemish is on the beadlock rim part itself, not the actual wheel, so he said that you can buy just the beadlock rim by itself if its that big of a deal, i dont really care, im just wondering where i can pick these up incase...
