I know the Cometic gaskets are like a rubber coated copper if that helps. The Vesrah brand gaskets are probably the closest to stock thicknesses.Vito's has some pretty good gaskets available too. They offer many diff thicknesses for special needs. We use Vito's for a big reed motor we have, because it uses a .060 base gasket.I have never used any of the other brands.I have always used stock, cometic,or vesrah.

i personally dont like stock, vitos or k&s gaskets(other than head gasket) i will only use cometic gaskets becasue theyre steel and i fee l better about building a high performance engine with aramid coating on steel so as to prevent tears ,leaks, scratches,blowouts,etc.. :headbang:

I've got the sets from "biker chicks unlimited", I think they were 22.00 for the complete set, They seemed to just as good as stock no issues upon reassembaly!

I even got a set for my buddies shee, I wouldn't hesitate to buy them again.

The same rand also came with a weisco piston kit my other buddy purchased.

Can't beat Cometic, best IMO as well.
