rocketboy Posted October 17, 2005 Report Posted October 17, 2005 i like the improvement it looks a ton better ,yo uneed a blue/red colored seat cover , one thing i dont really get ,is the bike doesnt seem to have a color scheme to it : light blue, dark blue, white, black seat ,candyapple red arms hubs , im a 2 color man myself ,looks really clean Quote
korndawg Posted October 17, 2005 Author Report Posted October 17, 2005 Yeah, one of the things that didn't show up in the pictures due to lighting, and the fact that I suck as a photographer, is that the blue on the frame and the blue on the plastic are almost exactly the same dark shade of blue. Only real difference is the metal flake in the blue paint. Quote
fast500#12 Posted October 17, 2005 Report Posted October 17, 2005 seat cover, grill, polish those wheels, you can always buy the billet engine stuff later. good job looks 1000 times better. Quote
sand rocket Posted October 18, 2005 Report Posted October 18, 2005 just needs some more bling. Did a great job with it. Quote
yammerhammer98 Posted October 19, 2005 Report Posted October 19, 2005 Great job on the rebuild! You definitely started with a real POS! I'm in the middle of rebuilding a '97 that was almost as beat up as yours was. It's good to see the old 'Shees come back for more fun! Since you already have the red/white/blue thing going, why not add some Stars and Stripes? I've got a '98 YZ with a patriotic US flag-based Ceet graphics kit. It looks great on the stock blue plastic. Just a thought. Quote
CadillacBanshee Posted January 4, 2006 Report Posted January 4, 2006 it looks tight already but decals and rim polish will improve it. Quote
23champ Posted January 5, 2006 Report Posted January 5, 2006 Man, that thing looked like a junk heap when you got it. Good job on the rebuild!!! Quote
RNBRAD Posted January 5, 2006 Report Posted January 5, 2006 It's been a few month's, any update's? I think seat cover styles somewhat like mine in blue would look killer. PC the a-arms and swinger to match the frame. Looks good!! Quote
Dinner Posted January 5, 2006 Report Posted January 5, 2006 You did a good job ...just ride it for now and have fun Quote
korndawg Posted January 5, 2006 Author Report Posted January 5, 2006 It's been a few month's, any update's? I think seat cover styles somewhat like mine in blue would look killer. PC the a-arms and swinger to match the frame. Looks good!! I really haven't done much to it in the last few months due to limited funding. The only thing I've done to it is add a polished stainless grille. I should be getting my tax return back by the end of the month though, and am planning on putting an aftermarket axle, shocks, a-arms, and if I can come up with enough money, I'm gonna put a set of cheetah cubs on it.
