korndawg Posted October 16, 2005 Report Posted October 16, 2005 I'm looking for some honest opinions, and suggestions as to what I can do next with this, as far as appearance goes. Keep in mind, that stickers and graphics kits are out of the question. I have no desire to be running the same graphics kit that everyone else is running 6 months from now. Feel free to be brutally honest on this one, so that I know what I've actually got. This is what I started out with.... And this is what it looks like now. Quote
lonestar Posted October 16, 2005 Report Posted October 16, 2005 (edited) You can hang out with us. ONLY KIDDING. GOOD JOB how much you got into it? Do you like it? THAT'S ALL THAT MATTERS. The only thing i think it needs full frame skid plates. Edited October 16, 2005 by lonestar Quote
jmoore Posted October 16, 2005 Report Posted October 16, 2005 It certainly looks better than before! I think it looks awesome! Quote
2_stroke_me03 Posted October 16, 2005 Report Posted October 16, 2005 man that thing was a piece of s*** before but you completely turned it into a nice banshee....the only thing it needs is to be ridden Quote
Redlined Posted October 16, 2005 Report Posted October 16, 2005 Looks good. My suggestion would be keep doing what you Quote
korndawg Posted October 16, 2005 Author Report Posted October 16, 2005 To answer the question about what I've got into it, I bought the bike for $1000, which included what you see in the first 2 pictures, plus the motor, which had to be rebuilt. I put another $2500 into it, bringining the grand total to right around $3500. Quote
locogato11283 Posted October 16, 2005 Report Posted October 16, 2005 seat cover...other than that i think it looks good..you can start adding bling or just say freak it and build a badass motor... Quote
350TwinDeathBed Posted October 16, 2005 Report Posted October 16, 2005 That's a great looking bike for 3500 total. Looks like you spent your money in the right places for all the mods too. Quote
decon Posted October 16, 2005 Report Posted October 16, 2005 man...talk about before and after...you've done a good job looks real nice...maybe you should get a new radiator grill... Quote
sam97 Posted October 17, 2005 Report Posted October 17, 2005 Some piggyback front shocks would look pretty good with those red arms. Elkas would look pretty sweet. Quote
Stinger Posted October 17, 2005 Report Posted October 17, 2005 It's definately a hell of an improvement from when you got it. Only thing I'm not diggin' is the red arms/swinger/hubs. It just doesn't go with the rest of the blue/white theme... Quote
8buck Posted October 17, 2005 Report Posted October 17, 2005 (edited) Dang, looks good! I like the touch of red, really sets it off. Maybe add some red handle bar grips and race cut the rear fenders too, gives em a real mean look I think. Here's the way mine are cut. Edited October 17, 2005 by 8buck Quote
sycoracer911 Posted October 17, 2005 Report Posted October 17, 2005 i would say chrome grill.... and some nerf bars... you can get tusk bars from r/m for 100 bucks.... other than that polish rims, polish clutch cover, polish throttle, polish brake's.... lol find aluminum and polish it! Quote
FlatTrackinIt55 Posted October 17, 2005 Report Posted October 17, 2005 youve got one hell of a before and after. id say a polished or chrome radiator grill poloshed clutch cover and a billet stator cover. and you would really have a nice clean looking bike. Quote
FlatTrackinIt55 Posted October 17, 2005 Report Posted October 17, 2005 and get those rims shining. Quote
