PassionRE Posted October 13, 2005 Report Posted October 13, 2005 Ive seen this mod on stock Banshee cylinders. Also, CT does this on their aftermarket Blaster cylinders along with the triple ex. ports. If everything else is in order, it should RIP...Jim Quote
t.spraker Posted October 13, 2005 Author Report Posted October 13, 2005 Thanks for the info, (I couldn't post any pics,I kept getting an error message saying that the file was too big.) I've never seen that done before- the top boost ports go straight thru to the xfer port, nearest the exhaust, without cutting into the xfer port that the bottom boost port goes into. Thanx again. bobbybonilla Posted October 14, 2005 Report Posted October 14, 2005 Are the boost ports the ones I have circled in blue? Quote

RATBIKE0130 Posted October 14, 2005 Report Posted October 14, 2005 Those are not boost ports those are boyesen ports. Boost ports are the small port above the intake port on stock cylinders. Quote

Do Boost ports really do anything? Quote

wesw Posted October 14, 2005 Report Posted October 14, 2005 all i have to say is THAT IS THE HACKEST PORT JOB IVE SEEN. wow looks awful to me but shit it might run who knows Quote
Justintoxicated Posted October 14, 2005 Report Posted October 14, 2005 (edited) I would not run that shit if it was me...It looks like he freaked up the boysen ports and resleved the cylinders? is there any material between the boysen port and the seleve wall? Hell is there even any sleve left where he bored the hole? from the pics it looks like the cylinders are not even runable cause it looks like the piston ring will catch where he freaked up the boysen port.
