01bansheefox Posted October 2, 2005 Report Posted October 2, 2005 Why are these drag banshee pipes out of frame with no silencers or anything? Just wondering the +side of this? Quote
Cotton eyed Joe Posted October 2, 2005 Report Posted October 2, 2005 silencers will hold in heat. 421974 And, anytime you have a heated gas, you have higher pressures, which is the opposite effect you want with a drag pipe. You need lower pipe pressures to better facillitate scavenging. Quote

01bansheefox Posted October 3, 2005 Author Report Posted October 3, 2005 Is it ok to ride around on drag pipes if your out at the dunes or are they used just for the race here and there. Quote
Posted October 3, 2005 Report Posted October 3, 2005 i ride drag pipes like inframes and have no problem with it , i do alot of " trails " and what not , alot of NON dragging and top end runs down the highways lol . there good but if u ride where theres TONS of tree's and have little cleareance on each side avoid it ! Miami is flat and very smooth thats why i run outframes VERY little obstacles Quote
race-a-holic Posted October 3, 2005 Report Posted October 3, 2005 People might like out of frame drag pipes maybe because they enjoy hearing loss?I like in-frames myself. Not saying I'll never go to out of frames, but it's very cool beating them with in-frames when I can. Quote
RIPPEN Posted October 3, 2005 Report Posted October 3, 2005 drag pipes make people go DAMN thats bad ass lol , and yes they make people go shhh loud . 422124 Yeah thats what I thought too untill I saw a few with out frames run like shit while making a ton of noise . RIPPEN Quote
race-a-holic Posted October 4, 2005 Report Posted October 4, 2005 I second that.I once beat a guy that had a banshee with a drag frame and out of frame pipes. It looked fast sitting there, but not when I beat him. Then again maybe he was flying when I passed him.LOL! Quote
locogato11283 Posted October 4, 2005 Report Posted October 4, 2005 if u have outframes you better be fast... Quote
Posted October 4, 2005 Report Posted October 4, 2005 i have not lost a banshee race in my area , and i ran about 7 so far . some people i know some people i do not know . most had medium amounts of work done . not saying you guys wont beat me , im just comparin me to local's . get whatever type of pipes you want . Quote
bigboybanshee Posted October 4, 2005 Report Posted October 4, 2005 get whatever type of pipes you want . 422767 I agree...especially when you have to buy something else because the maker/seller of the pipe you want is ripping people off left and right. There are not a whole lot of options for inframe drag pipes... Quote
