blueshee03
i'd check to make sure the metal stops are still there and not bent allowing the steering to turn to far.

macgillivary
is it possible to shave the stops a bit so that your tires do turn farther? not so far that you have issues but just a little bit most other bikes wheels turn alot farther then the banshees and id like mine to turn tighter instead of gettin off and pushing my bike backwards in the slow tight trails while the ex's are gone on me
leadsled
i had the same problem comming out of a turn onto a jump with the wheels turned and locked caused the bike to hit the jump completely sideways and fliping my ass off and bending my subframe to hell shit suks dude
Dunsmoor86
Mine does the same thing that you are talking about and I still don't know what causes it either.

89Steeda
You need to recheck your stop. It may not look messed up but it is. Usually they bend forward and allow too much steering. On mine, I took a long bar, placed it on the stop from the front of the bike and used a hammer to bend it back. I then welded in a triangular gusset. Good luck. FOXBANSHEE30
mine does that too. Check the tie rod on the tire that turns too fast and see if the ends are even. Check to see it there is the same amount of threads at each end (stem and spindle) if not makem even that will fix it. Im just too lazy to do it... Wallrat
Yeah its the metal stop located where the steering stem meets the lower part of the frame. The welds there are really wimpy and it gets pushed away from the stem allowing it to turn a hair further. Doesn't take much before the wheels get yanked to the side and lock up. Hammer it back into place and add gussets if you have the ability.
rzcolobanshee
Do you guys have offset rims? If you do that is definately the cause, go back to the stock offset and you'll be fine
Rooster
You may have a bent tie rod and/or upper J arm (if your bike has J arms and not A arms). I had the same problem and it was nearly impossible to see where the J arm was bent. New J arm, problem fixed. Also, the tie rod once did the same thing but it was easier to find because all I had to do was remove it and roll it across a flat surface to see the bend.
