road racer Posted September 14, 2005 Report Posted September 14, 2005 I have a mod quad cool head with pro design domes. I am having trouble with the outer o rings breaking. Will pro design o rings fit it or do I have to find more mod quad ones ? Quote

itsaripper Posted September 15, 2005 Report Posted September 15, 2005 Did the oring break into half or did you slice a piece off the side of it? If the oring broke into half there is something wrong with the oring material. But if you installed it in without greasing it, you could have sliced a piece off. Then when everything gets hot and exspanded you get a leak. Quote
Hulio-mv Posted September 16, 2005 Report Posted September 16, 2005 i had no probs with my modquad head breaking o-rings but i did have trouble geeting coolant to stop coming into the recessed holes ride it tighten it ride it tighten it eventually it stopped but i do have trouble with the plugs coming loose every now and then Quote
