Yes the original piston is screwed. I did not replate. They can be run as is but to be like new it should be replated.

Not really looking to part it out as it is complete, just stock engine. The cubs have a clean-up port but that's all. They have maybe 10 hrs. on them and scuffed a piston on one side. Trying to get a quote on getting them replated . All this stuff got expensive by the time it got to me from the US. PM me with offers if interested and I will decide if I am selling or rebuilding.

I have a 421 cub and wiseco +4 crank for sale. Crank has a bad rod and will need repaired. Cyl has some marking on one cyl. Can be run as is or replated. There are 2 new pistons included but they got marked up a little in transit. Very runable just marked. Open to offers as getting this repaired in Canada is much more expensive than in the US. I also have a noss head with 20cc big bore domes and 35 mm pwk airstryker carbs with pro-design intakes . TIME FOR THE SHEE TO GO. :shoothead:

Thanks dlnoss. That's exactly my problem. I need to swap for a noss or pro-design set-up. Preferably a noss.

The head has recesses cut around the outside of the domes for better cooling which makes it so I can't use big bore domes with the o-ring on the outside. Wish I could as it's nice not to have to change studs.

I talked to the shop where the cubs were bought and they don't recommend running pump gas at all. Would prefer no less than 110 octane and high compression domes for performance. Is anyone on here running pump gas with cubs ? What domes ?

68mm bore, +4 stroke. What size domes will run with pump gas ?

I have for sale a set of chrome PT mids with fat boy quiet silencers and a set of chrome LRD pipes with custom silencers built like the fat boy's. They are both in decent shape and work great. PT's have had the mounting brackets re-welded, but work fine. Asking 300 shipped per set.

Are ESR pipes the same as Shearer's just with different silencers ? Would they be a good open trail top end pipe ?

I just bought a new set of the vito's heads because they said they would work in pro-design heads and pro-design are supposed to work in the modquad head so I figured they would work. Wrong. The vito's head has the o-ring on the outside edge of the dome where pro designs have the ring in further with an outer lip of metal. The modquad head is cut around the outside for more cooling so the o-ring has no support with the vito's dome.

I have one and like it. It's nice to be able to use stock studs. Good looking quality part. You can't use vito's heads in it though.

Hi; Mine did the same thing and it was the rear axle slightly out of wack. Block it up and run it and watch your rear wheels. Likely you will see they wobble causing your shake.
