Ducman Posted August 30, 2005 Report Posted August 30, 2005 Definitly Noss! You may want to talk with dave and have him custom cut some BB domes for you. Depending on your porting you may want your domes cut for more top/mid/low end rather than a generic one size fits all cut. He has a HQ member discount and his annodized colored heads looks really nice. Using your stock studs is a big + with noss heads as well. Quote
taldoc3 Posted August 30, 2005 Report Posted August 30, 2005 noss all the way man, good price, great guy to deal with, member discount, different colors, oh yea he is an okie also Quote
locogato11283 Posted August 30, 2005 Report Posted August 30, 2005 i got head...umm, NOSS head that is... Quote
wayfst Posted August 30, 2005 Report Posted August 30, 2005 how about this don't get a trinty head, the head works awsome for really extreme stuff, but for yours anything else. they just really over though it and it is a pain in the ASS to put together. just my opinon I could be wrong. Quote
Bansh88 Posted August 30, 2005 Report Posted August 30, 2005 is an aftermarket head just a bolt on procedure? What else is necessary for installation? Quote
dlnoss Posted August 30, 2005 Report Posted August 30, 2005 is an aftermarket head just a bolt on procedure? What else is necessary for installation? It installs in an hour or two. No other mods are necessary if you keep the compression under around 180 psi. It's a good idea, as with any mod, to check jetting afterwards but the jetting doesn't usually need to be changed. It's a quick, easy, relatively inexpensive mod for the difference it makes. Quote
gatesy Posted August 31, 2005 Report Posted August 31, 2005 I was also wondering about the NOSS head, if you change dome size will it effect jetting? Also what is the stock dome size? Quote

Jetting usually doesn't change with a different dome size but I always recommend checking it with any mod (or season change). The stock chamber size is 22cc to 23cc. Quote
