I don't think I'd buy anything other than T5's for a stock bike. Prolly a ton of posts like this one if you do a search, but most would agree. There are some die hard pro circuit, paul turner, and fmf junkies here too.

Tried to do a search but it keeps giving me a fatal error message

I bought my wife a 2005 banshee ( stock ) and will stay that way except for pipes maybe. I have a 2005 banshee also with head mod, k&n, and Toomey T6 pipes. Would I benifit from putting my T6 pipes on her banshee and getting some shearers for mine?

Yes i think you would benifit from giving her the t5's and running rockets or shearers, i personaly have shearers and that is what i like, the only down side to them is if you want to run your airbox you cant with the shearers

they are all good pipes. for your stock bike for your wide i recommend t5's. they will produce the least hardest hit and will be more rideable than the rockets or shearers.

go with the shearer's, they work excellent on a stocker and then if you decide to do some motor work in the future you won't be searching for a new set of pipes, because shearer's work great with ported motors

Well I put the Toomey T6 pipes on my wifes banshee. We went to the river to ride, her on her banshee and me on my 660 Grizzly. She headed straight to the drag. Before she got the pipes on, this other girl on a raptor always beat her in a race. They raced again and my wife threw a roost all over her as she raced to the finish. I got lucky that night, which is always a good thing

I am going to get some shearers when I get some money. Where can I get a good set?

Shearer makes the best pipe for my setup, but I sure wouldn't run them on a stock port. If your planning for the future, go for it. If you stay stock long, I'd go for the T-5's.

I think I have decided to wait until I get my cylinders ported. That way I can get the right pipe/port combonation for my style of riding. Will be a while though cause I am headed to Jamaica and have to save up for that

Thanks for all the info guys :headbang:

By the way, my wife loves her new pipes and now wants more mods

She sure has suprised me

You are a lucky man.Wished my wife liked racing.I have shearer pipes, porting, and alcohol carbs among other things. It pulls very hard. You might be better off with bigger than stock gas carbs. The combination of the 3 will surprise you of just how fast a 350 can be. :bolt:

I plan on getting bigger carbs when I get the porting. Just have to wait.

She used to not like it, but she had never raced before she met me. I drag race a Monte Carlo and I let her try it once. She liked it. Then I got her the banshee and she saw me racing on mine. She tried it and liked it too. It was hillarious when she came to hard out of the hole and came over backwards :rotflmao: At first she used to barely give it gas before she launched, now she wraps it up pretty good in second and lets it rip :bolt:

I'm just glad we have this in common, don't have to hear her complain that I am gone riding all the time because she is there too :headbang:
