which keihin carb?

I have a 02 Banshee with a play port and all the bolt on mods, and I am going to get some bigger carbs I dont know wether to go with the 34mm PJs or 35mm PWK I want a power gain but still want to have low and mid for trails. I heard the 35's are for 1/2 to full throttle but didnt know how drastic it will be. Any suggestions? Anybody with the 35's, how is your low and mid range power.

I dont think you would benefit with 34s or 35s on a play port, go with some 28pwks or have the stockers bored

sounds to me like you need a 28/30mm carbs .unless you got a high -rev dune port and pretty high compression w /inframe drag pipes then id get 33 pwks or 34mm carbs

Yea I'd look at a smaller carbs than the 35's. I've ran the 35's for a long time, but you need the porting and mods to justify them or your looking at a loss in power.

i have the pwk 28's and love'em. they are perfect for the riding i do (mostly trails)

i would go with 33mm pwk. you will lose little if any bottom end and your topend will be much stronger. also if you ever decide to go with a 4mm or anything the 33mm will work well. my brother had a woods port, which im sure is somewhat similar to your dune port and it woke the bike up unreal. more power bottom thru top...id go with 33mm pwk...

carberator parts warehouse has a 30 mm made from the same body that kiehin uses. That is what I would uses. The pwk's jump from 28 to a 33 and 30's they have are a great size for the banshee. They are always on ebay for around 200-250. If you can't find them give me a shout I can get them for you.
