MDS2106 Posted July 17, 2005 Report Posted July 17, 2005 the bolt pattern on my sons blaster is 4x100,i found some 250r rims that are 4x110, has anyone drilled the hole bigger to make them fit? thanks -Mark- Quote
dirtplay1975 Posted July 17, 2005 Report Posted July 17, 2005 if you are good you can redrill a set of new holes, or I would almost bet money on it that if you found a set of 250r, 250x or 300ex rear hubs they will fot the blaster. It works the other way around, found out one day that blaster hubs slide on a honda axle when a buddy had a broken blaste rand anther guy needed to run paddles on his 250x, I noticed the slines looked close and we tried itr who would have guessed Quote
crbanshee Posted July 17, 2005 Report Posted July 17, 2005 dont know that i would trust reeming the holes out but i have drilled new ones and it worked out prety good Quote
locogato11283 Posted July 17, 2005 Report Posted July 17, 2005 i personally wouldnt trust my ass on some drilled out rims. thats just me tho if you feel confident enough to do it then go ahead. hell it might work just fine. but rims are cheap enough to where id just buy new ones. Quote
sredish Posted July 17, 2005 Report Posted July 17, 2005 Keep in mind, those holes have to be centered PERFECTLY. If they're not setup centered, then it'll vibrate like crazy and probably wear heavily on your bearings. Quote
