My name is Carl.

I have 22 inch rears, and 21 inch fronts. The fronts are brand new.

The rears need replacing.

I do a LOT of pavement pounding, and gravel roads. However, I'd still like a tire that will be decent in mud/sand. Whats a good tire for this? I'm lookin at holeshots right now.. or maybe turf tamers? TT's dont look that great for offroad tho..

I heard that switching to 20 inch rears would be great for acceleration. My question is, if I got 20 inch rears.. wouldn't i then have to get 19 inch fronts?

My motor is bored over, but I'm not piped or anything..

Thank you friends.

Also... how come when i see rims for sale on ebay.. they say crap like.. fits 87-89, and 91-04. Whats wrong with 90 (which is what year mine is)

I really have gotten good results out of my Holeshots, also I know Razr2's are very popular on this forum although I have not tried them yet, I have heard nothing but good responses about both tires.

I would definitly go down to a 20" tire unless you really have a reason to be lugging such a big one.

Deffinitely go down to a 20" tire. No need to change fronts. Banshee's come stock with 21" fronts and 20" backs and that's probably the sizes most on here still run.

I've had both holeshots and razrs. I thought the holeshots performed a little better on hardpack, although they suck in any kind of mud. The razrs perform pretty well everywhere. Overall I think I liked my holeshots a little more but they wore out very fast. The razrs have lasted a lot longer.

I think if you do a lot of street riding you'll smoke the holeshots in a big hurry. The razrs would hold up a lot better, that's what I would suggest.

yes, they will fit on the same rims. I have no real problems with the knarly but my brother runs them on his stock Banshee and we found them to be a little heavy and power robbing. Deffinitely not a problem on loco's monster but something to think about if you're close to stock.

If your looking at the holeshots or Razrs get the HD's or Razr 2's because they are 6 ply tires. Or if you get a similar tire the 6 ply tires will last longer, but they cost more. Some of the early year banshees had different hubs/ bolt pattern on the rims.

I have a set of 20x11x9 razrs for sale. They are on rims, though, ITP's. They are in real good shape, the rims have a couple dents but hold air great.

If you want i could take the tires off the rims, i still need to clean the tires, but i snapped these pics for ellison445 real fast. The tires fit stock rims, and are 1 inch wider than stock which is nice. Shoot me an offer on them, rims or not.
